Taken at the beach near Baan Krood Resort in Prajuab Kheereekhan, Thailand. Went there with the other 4 friends from CMMU. Had not intended to go that far (about 4-hour drive from Bangkok!), but somehow ended up picking this resort when a friend provided choices. However, we didn’t regret going this far to this resort at this beach. The resort was not big, but nice and clean. It just made me feel like home. Plus, the dinner we got for free was unexpectedly delicious! The beach was clean and peaceful. There was a restaurant near there that had a nice chef.. Yeb, the food was good as well! We just walked by the beach, but swam and played around in the swimming pool. We jumped a lot from the artificial tiny waterfall! Fun!

Taken during a business trip to Charlotte, USA, during 30th June - 10th July 2009, with colleagues. Meant to stop in Salisbury, UK, for 2 days, but sadly, the US departure date was postponed. Thus, I was just in London during the transit time back to Bangkok (as the ticket had been booked TH>UK>US and then US>UK>TH). The weather in the US at the time was exactly like Bangkok, so no problem with the weather. The town was not much impressive although the malls were big (I’m not a shopping maniac.. Haha!). I had a chance to visit a few malls there, doing a little shopping (got foods mostly and a pair of Ninewest flat shoes) and checking Blackberry prices for a colleague (around 8-10k Baht cheaper than Thailand!!). However, the hotel was nice, esp the amenities and the bed. The Internet fee was $12.95 for a day, which was considered expensive. Shouldn’t that have been included in the room charge? Duh! The U.S. Whitewater Rafting was something I would want to re-visit. Tried different styles of foods. I kinda like iHops, a pancake house, the most, apart from the spinach salad I had very often. In London, it became the first time I used an Oyster card (not mine, but a colleague’s cousin’s) for a bus. Lastly, Wagamama suck.. Twice that I tried and the dishes were not nice both time.. LOL!!

This is a special postcard made for the owners of the Websters Bed & Breakfast only :) I stayed there when I was in Salisbury, UK, from 7th to 20th February 2009. The BB was very nice and cozy. The food was good and the room was hygenic. Love it a lot. Hope I will have a chance to go back there one day. Thanks to John and Ronie for the comfortable place!

Taken this photo at a Starbucks in London. There were a lot of Starbucks shops than I had expected. Thought Londoners would prefer something ‘English’. LOL.. Maybe not! (I saw one Starbucks in Salisbury.. Perhaps, there are a few in Salisbury, but not so many. Tearooms were better!) Just happened to like this blurred photo, so I made it a postcard :p

The way the light changes in London is different from what we have in Thailand! In London, when the light will change to green, it will show like what you see in this postcard, i.e. red with yellow together. In Thailand, red will change into green right away. There is never a chance that two colours of the light will show up at the same time in Thailand. On the other way round, when green turns to red, in London, yellow will not show up (if I am not wrong); while in Thailand, it will go green, yellow and then red. Different, eh? Good to know.. Interesting to see!

Visited on 21st February 2009. This London Eye costs almost GBP14 to stay in there for about 20 minutes. Expensive? I would say NOT AT ALL! Firstly, we do not have this in Thailand. Secondly, compared to the cost of living in London and the fee for London Eye, GBP14 is cheap (surely, if compared to Thailand cost of living, GBP14 is very pricey! But don’t do that.. Haha!). The scenery was magnificent! I could see very far from the carriage, especially when I was at the top. I wish I could hang in there at the highest moment for half an hour longer!

This is a way (a tube, a walk path pipe?.. whatever it is :p) people in Greenwich use to cross (beneath) the river. I went there on 21st February 2009. Sadly, I spent only 10-15 minutes there. Still sad! ;(

This is different from what we have in Thailand. We have what we call a zebra crossing with the black/ white look on the road. In London, this is what they have. The phrases ‘LOOK RIGHT’ or ‘LOOK LEFT’ are on the street to show that we can cross the road there, but HEY, LOOK FIRST!

Taken in London, UK, visited after the trip for SAP training in Salisbury. Did not visit so many places as planned. Big Ben and London Eye were the main locations. City cruise was taken and cruising took time. Nice scene though. The bottom right of the postcard is the Kensington Gardens. I did not walk through but saw the outside a bit. The picture was taken from my room at Thistle Hotel at the opposite of the Gardens.

Taken during the trip for SAP training with Satcom. On the Valentine’s weekend to Bath, nearby town, by a train (4-5 stops away). The town has stories about Roman Baths and Bath stone. The stone is used for (almost) all constructions and the town was in light yellow. Very nice!
